Winning The Bread: The Tech Guy – Dr Al

I’ve been lucky enough to have been employed in quite a number of areas of work in my lifetime. As a retiree, I’m still imbued with the idea that I should be somehow ‘bringing in the money’. After all, traditionally, at least, the male of the human race has been termed the ‘major breadwinner’.

What’s a ‘Breadwinner'?
When I was a lad, there was a strange idea that most little boys ‘want to be an engine driver’. This assumed desire became a more general one, in that one’s mind is made up quite early in the rich tapestry of life, and you would be happiest if you could spend all your working days ‘being an engine driver’ – in other words, doing exactly what you set out to do, even if you had absolutely no idea what it entailed.
