When I was in my late 20s, I always wore a medic alert bracelet stating that I was an organ donor.
One day, on an outing with my 5-year-old and heavily pregnant with my 2nd child,
I was chatting with a friend when she noticed my bracelet.
"Oh", she said, "what's that for, I didn't know you had allergies?"
"I don't", I replied... and before I could continue, my 5-year-old retorted proudly,
"Mum's an orphan donor!"
