Paddy and Mario​

Paddy and Mario two lifelong friends working building a high tower block, each day they sit down for lunch together and comment on what they are having.

Paddy turns to Mario and says, 'Bejeezus cheese sandwiches again, everyday cheese! If I get cheese one more time I'll jump off the top of this building.'

Mario comments that he has pasta again and says to Paddy 'If I get Pasta again I'll jump with you.'

The next day they both opened their lunch boxes looked in disbelief at each other walked to the edge and jumped, stone dead both of them.

As they were so close, the families decided on a joint funeral.

After the service Maria, Mario's wife, turned to Kathleen, Paddy's wife, and said 'I don't understand Mario could just have told me he wanted something different.'

'That's true,' said Kathleen, 'But what I don't understand is that Paddy used to make his own lunch...'
