Is the coast clear?​

A married couple is fast asleep when the phone rings at 3 AM.

The wife picks up, listens for a second, and replies:

“How am I supposed to know? We’re 200 miles inland - try the coast guard!” click

Her husband rolls over and asks, “Sweetheart, who was that?”

She sighs, “I don’t know… some stupid woman asking if the coast is clear.”
