  • Boneless Chicken Rolled Roast
  • Cheese and Salami platter
  • Salad
  • Two Roast Veggie sides with Garlic and Rosemary

Woolworths Food Company Managing Director Guy Brent said: ‘Christmas is a special time of year to celebrate with loved ones and share great food, and as Today’s Fresh Food People we play a special role in helping customers create and enjoy those little moments.’

Woolworths also took note that Aussies wanted great value meals without compromising quality according to on-the-ground feedback.

He added, ‘We've worked hard to design a range for customers who want to only spend a certain amount but still entertain 8-10 people and menus for those who want to indulge more with a wide variety of show-stopping dishes and roasts.’

Outside of the three-course meals, Brent shared that Woolies has also added 90 new products for the holidays, such as new Woolworths Gold roasts and sides, ‘for a memorable dining experience’.

He also highlighted that their Christmas offerings are more convenient because many of their Gold dishes can be baked in the oven ‘at the same temperature’ for a more convenient cooking process, while others come in oven-ready trays.

In addition to its regular array of desserts, Woolies also has special treats for those with strict dietary requirements such as their Plantitude Cocoa Dusted Truffles and Plantitude Meringue Nests.

If you think this is all Woolies has in store, well, Brent has news for you!

‘This is just the start, with more new products to hit the shelves in the weeks closer to Christmas,’ he said.

Er, is the title a bit misleading?

The Woolworths $75 package to feed 10 people?

This would not impress my guests??
there's not a great selection of food here. One roast chicken to feed 10 people?

with what's shown it may feed 10 kids, maybe 5 adults, but NOT 10 adults!!

Whilst that's all very good and a tasty selection why doesn't anyone do something similar for a one or two person household? I would much prefer to have something like that than the individual items and have heaps left over,;)

We usually have a big antipasto platter and Prosecco to accompany the present opening and then add ham and salads to the table around lunch time. There's always pud with icecream, and trifle.
I grew up with the whole roast turkey cooked in a wood stove in 100 degree heat, and continued the tradition until my Italian daughter in law showed me the easy way.
Italians call trifle zuppa inglesi (English soup).

It took me about two years of living in Australia to realise that the hot roast dinner doesn’t work here, so we never do that. It’s a bbq, or seafood, or cold meats with salads, and cold desserts.
