Good morning all I hope you all woke up feeling thankful for another day and smiling
Hi everyone just read a lovely poem on a post by Dennis,
I also love writing poems so I thought I'd also put one of mine I wrote in here, I tried to put them on my page but I dont know how to do that yet perhaps I'll learn soon enough, anyway I hope this is allowed here I'm just new to Seniors I'm sure I'll learn quick the Do'sand Don'ts

Live every day like there's no tomorrow
The world they say is your oyster
It’s yours for the taking they say
But no one mentions the obsticles
Life throws you along the way
Doors they say will open
When you give everything you can
But no one sees the stress out their
That can cripple in an instant a plan
Stand up for your rights and your Values
They tell you that right from the start
But no one teaches them to you
So many are learnt from the heart
Faith and love and loyalty
They are the things that always run true
Remember these 3 things often
As they are what will help get you through
Stand tall stand strong and be accountable
Remember that life is a gift
Throw rocks on the water it ripples
This is just how easy life shifts
If you want your life to be perfect
then I’m sorry it’s not always that way
Be respectful and caring to each other
And treasure that your alive the next day
For life as we know it keeps on changing
Every day is a new challenge you’ll see
Give it your all and be thankful
as for some it’s just not meant to be
We are given just one chance to live life
Time doesn’t stand still not at all
But treasure each day as your last one
And life can be worth living for all
