Don't spend $1,155 on luxury sandals—get the perfect dupe for just $12 at BIG W

If you’re looking for a designer-inspired slide perfect for summer but won’t break the bank, we have the ultimate answer for you.

Get ready because you can grab an affordable alternative to the French luxury label Hermès Oran sandals for just $12 at BIG W!

Abbey O’Hagan from Brisbane discovered the budget retailer’s new Women's Cut Out Band Slide range, immediately reminding her of the luxury sandals.

BIG W recently launched the items in black, brown and beige.

Of course, the Hermès sandals—which cost $1,155—featuring an iconic ‘H’ cut-out are made from calfskin in Italy, while BIG W’s slides are made from synthetic material.

But let’s face it—a dupe that looks stylish and keeps your wallet happy? That’s what we call a win-win situation.

Abbey posted a video on social media, saying: 'BIG W has come through with Hermès sandal dupes. Oh my god, they are so cute and so nice.’

‘Obviously, they aren’t the exact same, but they are cute dupes for $12. So comfy, wore them all day yesterday,’ she claimed.

Her video garnered the attention of 320,000 viewers, and many of them were astounded at her bargain find.

‘Thank you, will be going to BIG W now,’ one user wrote.

Some even confirmed that the dupes are an excellent purchase, with one sharing, ‘Bought them weeks ago and can confirm they are so comfy.’

‘They’re so cute, love them. I got them a week ago,’ another commented.

However, many people are unconvinced about the BIG W dupes. Someone said they’re ‘hideous and look nothing like’ the original ones.

‘[It’s] not the same! But they are cute,’ another stated.

‘Those are actually ugly...wouldn't even buy the knock-offs, let alone the actual designer ones,’ a third person pointed out.

‘I’d rather buy the Hermes or nothing,’ a fourth person declared. To which Abbey replied, ‘Good for you.’

Unfortunately, some reported that the slides had already sold out in their local store, and some shoppers said they’re ‘waiting patiently for a restock’.

They are horrid and they’d make your feet sweat it’s a no from me👎

The material the sole is made of is more like foam than rubber, you'll be lucky if they last 6 months, same as K Mart crap. Total waste of money.

Can’t for the life of me see how any one could pay that amount of money for those slides. Even $15 they don’t look the least bit comfortable.. showing my age here. Buy for comfort not because it’s “fashion”. To be honest if I saw my friends in them I would know where they come from lol and it’s not Hermes
