Cadbury Milk Bottles

I saw these last weekend when I visited an old lolly shop in Central NSW and I just had to include them in our Yesterday’s Australia segment! I didn’t take a photo of the shop, because I was busy chatting away with the owner and buying plenty of lollies (of course) but I bought a few of these old milk bottles and I loved them. They were so satisfying and the perfect amount of ‘sweet’. It reminded me of how much I miss classic lollies that weren’t over the top filled with flavours and additives. Do you have any lollies that you miss dearly? Or do you think the lollies we have around nowadays are just as good? Tell me what you think in the comment section below!

I also loved the old milk bottles and jelly babies and snakes and anything chocolate....yum! The lollies today are nice, but just not the same! As a young kid growing up in a nthn. NSW country town, a visit to the main town of a Fri, when Mum went shopping, was always a treat! Back in the day when Coles had yummy lollies. We asked the lady to serve up a bag of jelly babies ect. Plus the good old corner stores where you picked out your faves of 1c or 2c ect. Coles was my usual spot of a Fri arv to collect my Partridge Family bubble gum cards. Not many old corner shops left now when I recently visited my old home town.
