The supermarket giant proudly announced their Specially Selected Lobster Tails with Garlic Butter Glaze – which cost just $29.99 for two, is back in stock for Christmas.

Enjoy hassle-free cooking as the wild-caught lobsters are already seasoned with butter, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, and salt.

This luxurious addition to your Christmas dinner table not only comes with an affordable price tag, but long-time fans have also described them as “absolutely delicious”.

“I have bought them every year for Christmas Day,” wrote one woman in a Facebook group.

Another shopper added that she buys the lobster tails every time they replenish the stocks at her local Aldi.

“Christmas special that I always buy for Christmas Day,” said another.

Even though the lobster tails were widely anticipated, it is not the only gourmet item in Aldi’s Christmas seafood range.

Another popular selection is the Salmon Wellington with Cheese and Dill Sauce. The dish features an Atlantic salmon in rich cheese and dill sauce, wrapped in a crispy puff pastry. Just chuck it in the oven to cook, then serve. Talk about easy to prepare!

you have to be up on your prices because Aldi charge $29:99 for 2 lobster tails, but a lady who was looking at them said they only charge $8 each at our local Woolworths. Also bought 1 kg roast turkey breast for $13 ish and they wanted $30 for one with seasoning, expensive seasoning!

I've never enjoyed shellfish but somehow i've recently started enjoying prawns. I think i may try lobster tail next

Given my wife's dietary problems why do they have to smother everything in garlic and other stuff to make them inedible sigh!

Aldi’s “special buy” lobster tails come from Canada, kept frozen, where they may be caught up to 2 years before selling them. The garlic sauce is added to mask the frozen flavour. Also, Woolies tails come from Brazil, Coles come from Canada, also!! Both sold around $8-10 per lobster tail!! Always best to buy local, if possible ! 👍🏽👍🏽

Well said I could not agree more. So thankful that here in W A we can buy straight from the stern of the Fishing Boat.
