Sudden change leaves households questioning future of TV viewing

You are so right Gezzabel. We do have Foxtel but many nights I scroll through the guide and end up turning the tv off and find a book to read instead. We do have Prime and Apple TV, so must make more use of those. I feel sorry for people who don’t want pay tv and certainly don’t need the hassle...

Don’t risk it! Emergency surgery after THIS smart ring bloated

Mine are in danger because I keep forgetting to put anything in them. If the holes close, then too bad.

Good News You Might Have Missed

Another great roundup of uplifting stories. My neighbours mum had Huntingtons, which is a truly dreadful disease, and my husband‘s older brother has Alzheimer’s, so anything that can help suffers would be wonderful. The fluffy coral looks interesting. Keep up the great work SDC administrators.

Don’t risk it! Emergency surgery after THIS smart ring bloated

Well rings are annoying, I’ve only ever worn my wedding & engagement ring when I go out & that’s if I remember, I do wear my watch when I’m out, but apart from a locket that my dad bought me, the rest lives in my jewellery boxes. Think I’m too lazy to be bothered.

What voluntary assisted dying options are available for those with dementia?

The whole system seems so unfair. One of our neighbours was very ill and in a lot of pain, but didn’t qualify for VAD. She suffered immensely for several months, and it seemed so very wrong. After all, you’re in trouble if you allow an animal to suffer, but human suffering doesn’t seem to...

Hidden danger lurking in every Aussie park could end up costing $2,000

I remember dad having problems with his dogs and grass seeds when he lived on the farm. I can’t remember much about it, but I don’t think he ever lost a dog because of it, so obviously they were promptly taken to the vet. Snake bites were a bigger problem.

Saving time or losing $2,200? THIS driver found out the hard way...but you shouldn't

What sort of idiot would do a 3 point turn on any busy road, let alone the Harbour Bridge. Wonder how they ever got a licence.

Trump’s new tariff threat could leave Australian cinemas and wallets feeling the pinch

You would be very surprised at what I think about a lot of things Jest. I abhor war, after all my late father used to say that there are no winners in war, just a lot of dead people and mass destruction of everything. If Trump can bring an end to the war, then that would be amazing, but we’ll...

The Aussie dad who lost his wedding fund to a $945 million scam epidemic targeting Australian seniors

We work with a Financial Planner and he’s worth every cent that we pay him. He’s looked after us for a number of years now, and it’s so good to have peace of mind.

'I was SO devastated': Why shoppers are upset with Target's Christmas range

I would have thought that most of us would have far too many Christmas decorations by now. I’ve downsized our tree and gave most of our decorations away, I kept enough to decorate the tree and a few special favourites that have been collected over the years. I did tell my son that I was going to...

Trump’s new tariff threat could leave Australian cinemas and wallets feeling the pinch

Trump is becoming a bigger menace everyday, and he hasn’t been in office for a year yet, even though it feels like a lifetime.
