Are you ready for Albo’s bold new cash plan? Here’s how it could change how you pay every day

I do the same. I get paid monthly, and as soon as my pay hits my bank a/c i withdraw enough for groceries, entertainment, petrol etc. for the whole month, leaving enough in the account for bill payments.

The RBA has cut rates for the third time this year. More relief may be on the way

I boycotted both of those around 15-20 years ago. I only shop at local farmers markets, I buy meat online from 'Our Cow', IGA & on occasion, HFM (I do click and collect, so i avoid the temptation to buy more than I need).

The government has asked for bold proposals. Maybe it’s time to consider taxing the family home

And this sentence sums it up nicely "I believe that anything like this would decrease home ownership. " That, my friends is what this is aimed at doing "YOU WILL OWN NOTHING, AND BE HAPPY". Another step closer to 15 minute cities (take note of where they are building concrete high rise boxes)...

The RBA has cut rates for the third time this year. More relief may be on the way

I sold my home 5 yrs ago, and bought a lease in an over 55 village. So I have no mortgage. I still work 3 days a week (same job for 9 yrs), but I find I'm frequently digging into my savings to make ends meet each month. I've cut all non-essential spending but it still doesn't help the budget...

Tap-and-Go Nation: Inside Australia’s $160 Billion Cashless Boom

YOU HAVE TO LOOK BELOW THE SURFACE.......The push towards Digital ID's and Credit Scores (think "China") is what this is all about. It is about CONTROL. Once they have finished herding everyone into their "15-minute cities", they will then be able to control what you spend your "credit...

Major Aussie bank cuts 1,500 jobs, pushes cashless future

I shop at my local IGA, and there is no extra charge for taking out cash. That has more to do with the owner of the Store than the bank. The bigger charge for me is when you "tap" a card instead of inserting it into the eftpos machine. Most of the time i use cash.

Major Aussie bank cuts 1,500 jobs, pushes cashless future

Yes, just imagine how the folks up in Northern NSW are coping with the flooding, power outages, no access to fuel, then to top it off no way to pay for anything if they haven't got cash on them. We are about to cop that weather here in Southern NSW too, so go get some cash out people.

Retiring But Not Relaxing: Australia’s Age Pension Maze

I will turn 67 on 4th March next year, and i already live in an over 55's village. One of my friends in the village has been through the pain of applying for her pension already, so she has very kindly offered to help me assemble all the necessary documents and will help me lodge my application...

Outage Anxiety: Centrelink Crash Leaves Older Aussies in Limbo

A little paranoia is not necessarily a bad thing. I also have a pantry full of non-perishable food for the "unexpected", and a little cash for when the power/internet go down.

Unexpected tactic raises concerns over personal information during election season

We must vote wisely this election. This is the most critical election of our lives. The duopoly that is the Lib/Nat-Lab/Green behemoth must be put last. We wont be able to change things all in one go, but we must make a start at getting rid of the corporate duopoly. Put your own preferences...

Experts reveal new coronavirus strain, sparking global pandemic fears

No there isn't. The majority will continue to believe the fear put out by mainstream, and they mostly don't bother to do their own research. I was alerted to this particular con at the beginning of 2020 when i read about event 201 held in October 2019. You could superimpose every single news...

Experts reveal new coronavirus strain, sparking global pandemic fears

.................and so it continues. Didn't fall for the last one, not falling for this one either. The plan has always been to inject the entire population with that mRNA crap, which is NOT a vaccine, its a gene therapy, intended to alter your genetic make up. Original intent was to kill off...
