Looking for something to complain about obviously Sad state of affairs when people have got nothing better to do than complain about where the checkout is. Just go shop elsewhere if they don't like it. Maybe go to ALDI and complain about them being too slow, or too fast, or Bunnings taking...

Aussie couple slashes electricity bills to just $20 a quarter—here’s how YOU can do it

I should imagine anything in excess of the amount your battery can store goes back into the grid and covers this cost.

ALDI shoppers shocked by little-known checkout policy that could change your grocery experience

Swipe your card, don't tap it and you won't get a surcharge if you are using a debit card. I'm not sure about a credit card, I don't use one.

ALDI shoppers shocked by little-known checkout policy that could change your grocery experience

I agree, people don't seem to be happy these days unless they have something to whinge about. The only thing you achieve with an attitude like that is to make yourself miserable. I look at my daughter and despite having been born with an intellectual disability, developing schizophrenia in her...

Organise your linen cupboard with this $5.50 brilliant Kmart trick!

Summer sheets, winter sheets, pillowcases, doona covers, etc for the whole family, not to mention towels, face washers, tablecloths etc in a normal linen cupboard, it starts getting a bit expensive. What's wrong with folding them neatly and stacking them like people have done for years. Money...

Do we also have to use this person's foul language to get them to slow down, what a charming piece of work.

Kmart shoppers outraged over this ‘time-wasting' feature: ‘Hate them where they are’

This is nothing new, they've been in the centre of the store for years. It doesn't bother me, nor do I care if I have to show my receipt etc Such stupid little things to get upset about when there are some many real dramas going on in the world. We could be living in African countries and...

New aged care reforms to bring changes to seniors relying on assisted services

This is a very difficult situation IMO. I agree with everything stated in this article, but at the same time wonder where the money is supposed to come from for the endless list of needs required by the community. It is not only aged care but all community needs and many people seem to think...

New taxi rules to weed out suspicious drivers in this state

I don't use taxis much, but my pet peeve is drivers who, thinking you may not know exactly where you are, take you on a very long route to your destination. Have had this happen to me on several occasions in the past. A couple of drivers got quite a shock when they discovered I knew exactly...

Aussie couple slashes electricity bills to just $20 a quarter—here’s how YOU can do it

You need to be sure that you are going to stay very long term in your home to outlay such a large amount of money. They still had to spend around $11,000 after the government rebate which would take a while to recoup ( plus interest, unless they had this amount of money laying around). I have...

Australia Post hints at price jumps for several services

I really don't understand what the hullabaloo is all about. The average family, it states, uses five or six stamps a year ($1.20/year) for heaven's sake. Pensioners still only pay the reduced rate. Why are we whinging???

Protect your computers and phones: these six words could make you a hacker's next victim

Totally agree. This is not a trait solely to Bengal cats . I had a litter of Siamese kittens once, 7 in all, 6 were just fine but one a bit like the Bengal described. It's just a personality trait, some humans are the same, lol.
