One family’s ‘absolutely disgraceful’ discovery at their Airbnb ruined their whole holiday!

How disappointing. Should be first booked, first in. Hoping it's not too stressful an ordeal for your brother to go down the legal path, but he has to do it. Otherwise, the bad taste will never go away.

Top tips to keep produce and grocery staples fresher for longer!

This is not fruit or vegetable related, but my Mum used to add a few grains of rice to the salt shaker to stop it hardening. Our house may have been damp, which caused the problem, as I don't have this trouble. Actually, I don't add salt to food...may be that's the reason I don't need to do it.

My Mum loved using lemons. When she came to my home when my children were little to help me weed my large garden, she always brought a lemon with her. She also brought her own hand towel and bags for the weeds to put in her bin at her home. When she'd finished her day, playing with the children...

Don't make this mistake on your next flight! Here’s where you should never stand on a plane

How about re-designing the shape of the seats at the bottom, at the back? The actual seat doesn't go down as far as the backs of the seats, so there is loss of potential legroom space. Come on design engineers....do your stuff.

Most Older Australians Aren’t In Aged Care. Policy Blind Spots Mean They Live In Communities That Aren’t Age-friendly

The Graduation I attended was about 6 years ago, at UNSW. I was there for my son's graduation for his Master's of Biomedical Engineering. When the title of the "rat" PhD student was announced, the response from the audience was audible. Even to this day, I still wonder what the student's...

How do you stay healthy when the cost of living is going up?

I've tried so hard to grow my own veggies, but the neighbourhood wildlife always get it first. Mostly possums. No matter how effective my barriers and deterrents seem to be, they still get in. My apricots, nectarines and apples are always stripped, too. The possums or cockatoos get to these...
