I agree with you his smile was beautiful and the roles he played quite often made the show or movie enjoyable, although I did cry quite a lot especially in Roots

So did I he was such an unassuming actor never making the headlines for the wrong reasons and his roles always played a pivotal part in the movies.

I also watch a lot of SBS but I also watch movies - there was also a time I used to go the "Pictures" on a Friday night, oh the joy of trying to watch a movie while childish others rolled Jaffas down the floor

I am loving the Amazing Race Australia this year. The celebrities are so much fun, and I love the way they help each other as was shown in last night's episode.

One of my favourite lines from Dame Maggie Smith was in Downton Abby when one of the characters said he "would have to have weekends off" and she asked in a very quiet voice "What is a weekend?". I really enjoyed her in The Best Merigold Hotel although the film was filled with wonderful English...

Me too, I know we are all getting older, but it is still a shock, I love his music and watching him in A Star is Born really made me cry.
